“Made Our Special Occasion Even More Special”
What an amazing value for money. The staff were so friendly and ensured our lunch was special and memorable. The views are breath-taking and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Highly recommend to anyone. (TripAdvisor Extract July 2015)
“We Love this Hotel”
We always enjoy our stay at this super family run hotel. We prefer large sea view rooms; the views are unbelievable although the non-sea view rooms are absolutely fine. We enjoy the meals. Super buffet breakfast then cooked breakfast served to your table. Evening meal- lots of choices. We return as often as we can due to being dog friendly. Super pool, sauna, steam room. Portwrinkle is very quiet. Lovely coastal walks 2 little beaches.

Spent 2 very pleasant nights here. Staff attentive and friendly. Very nice traditional old world manor house hotel. Excellent buffet breakfast and fantastic Cornish cooked breakfast. Our room was perfect. Very good beach directly infront of hotel. This hotel is an excellent choice if you want to get away from the daily grind. And as an added bonus, there is no mobile internet signal - bliss. Would definitely recommend and return. (TripAdvisor Extract July 2015)
“So Good, We Extended our Stay”
Depending on what you are looking for in a Southern English beachside hotel, this could be your perfect holiday destination. The food at the hotel is of above average standard, arrives promptly and is of a reasonable price. In fact, we ate every single night in the restaurant. Try the lemon curd blackberry Eton Mess for desert - despite the seemingly strange combination, it is SO very good! You will also be eating with spectacular ocean views as the day begins to draw into night - well worth the experience. If you like golf, the Whitsand Bay Hotel has it's own 18-hole golf course, designed by somebody famous in 1906. The hotel itself could be straight out of a story book. Completely traditional with wood-panelled rooms, huge fireplaces and stained glass everywhere, it is a reminder of the description of every English seaside hotel in every book I have ever read. If you want modern and funky in a lively area, give it a miss. If you want romantic, storybook-esque and classic, your perfect location awaits at the Whitsand Bay Hotel.
